Steamed Asparagus with Lemon Vinaigrette

This steamed asparagus recipe with lemon vinaigrette brings out the best flavors of the crispy vegetable.

This asparagus recipe from The Best Recipe is my favorite way to eat asparagus. In fact, I don't think I even like asparagus until I tried it this way, and now I appreciate this crispy vegetable in all sorts of recipes.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice

1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard

1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce

2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil

salt and ground black pepper

1 recipe Steamed Asparagus

1. Whisk lemon juice, mustard, and Tabasco together in a small bowl. Whisk in oil until dressing is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

2. Prepare asparagus and place on a platter when cooked. Rewhisk dressing and drizzle over asparagus. Serve warm or at room temperature.
