Brain Booster Smoothie with Blueberries Recipe (Makes 4 kid-sized servings or 2 grown-up servings)
2 cups frozen blueberries
2 cups grape juice
1/4 cup almond butter or almonds
2 tablespoons wheat germ
1 banana (optional)
The flavor reminds me of an old-fashioned peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It’s sweet from the grape juice, tart from the blueberries and has a little crunch from the almonds and wheat germ. If your kids prefer a little more sweetness, try adding a banana.
