Recipes: Strawberry Rolls and Strawberry Juice
This means that I will probably have fresh strawberries in my house until the end of the summer when the price goes back up. I decided to use the rest of my frozen strawberries before they go bad. With my frozen strawberries I made strawberry hot pockets and strawberry juice. The hot pockets are great for breakfast, especially with Nutella on top.
To Make Strawberry Hot Pockets:
- Cresent Roll Dough
- 5 Cups Frozen Strawberries
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
Slice up semi frozen strawberries, add sugar, salt and lemon juice. Mix it up, strain the strawberries and put them in crescent rolls and bake.
To Make Strawberry Juice:
Use what’s left in your bowl of strawberries, and put it in the blender and hit the Whole Juice button (or high speed until it looks the right consistency). Serve cold, and shake or mix it each time.
You can tell these are tasty, because as I was trying to take pictures I couldn’t stop the little one from grabbing the strawberry roll right out of my picture! What are your favorite strawberry recipes?
