Peanut Butter Balls Recipe
As soon as I could stand and hold a mixer, I was in the kitchen with my Grandma Bogie. I love chocolate. And I love peanut butter. So growing up these were some of my favorites from my Grandma’s cookie recipes. I actually called her up and asked if I can use the recipe. These are sooooo good that when I used to come home from college, I would have my friends begging me to bring them back with me.
This is only my second time making them. I made them about four years ago for a chocolate party that my girlfriend hosted, and my grandma made a batch too “just in case”. True Story.
These don’t require an oven, but do require a little bit of time as you have to roll them individually and dip them in chocolate.
Here is the recipe, straight from my Grandmother’s recipe box
1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter (if you use natural peanut butter, it’s a little bit harder to roll them)
½ cup butter (room temperature)
1 box powdered sugar
Mix the above ingredients well, chill 30 minutes (my Grandma does NOT do this). Form into small balls with your hands and then chill for 30 minutes before dipping.
