Back to school time is in full session, and I'm feeling the lunch pressure in a major way. My daughter's three and this year will be her first experience eating lunch at school. I pick her up a WHOLE half an hour later while she dines in style with her peers. The new lunchbox has been purchased, but now I'm feeling the lunch packing pressure. Not from her, but from the teachers and any mom who happens to observe the contents of my daughter's lunchbox. Do you want to be the mom who sends the warm and squished sandwich and the snack packed with high fructose corn syrup?
Seriously, you don't want to be THAT parent.
Since I'm always looking for great lunch ideas and EASY lunch ideas (I didn't say I felt so much pressure that I was going to pack her a six course luncheon), I was thrilled when Honey Maid® asked TodaysMama to try out their new Honey Maid® Grahamfuls. The graham cracker connoisseur that I consider myself to be jumped at the opportunity. When the sample arrived, I MIGHT have been more excited than my three year old.
Imagine a graham cracker sandwich filled with peanut butter, peanut butter and chocolate or banana vanilla crème. My daughter and I sat right down to try them out and I had an inner battle with myself on how I PROBABLY didn't need another one right that second.
These crackers are made from whole grain, are a good source of calcium and don't contain high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors. So you won't be THAT mom.
Each package contains eight individual packages, perfect for winging into a lunchbox on those mornings when you're scrambling to get their teeth brushed, let alone your own teeth.
Keep an eye out for these in the store. I had one as a mid-morning snack today, and you may be eating half of the box on your own. As I mentioned Honey Maid® did generously supply me with a sample of this product but the love that I feel for these crackers is all my own. Enjoy!
Back to school!
