Every year I start with the best of intentions. I hatch wildly ambitious plans to shower my friends, family and neighbors with home-baked goodies that will be so delicious, not to mention, lovingly packaged that they will definitively proclaim it be the “best gift they have ever received”.

Friendship Tea

Ingredients
1 cup tang beverage mix
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup instant tea powder
1/2 cup instant lemonade
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Preparation: combine ingredients and store in a tightly covered jar or tin. To serve, combine two tablespoons of tea mix with 1 cup hot (hot) water.

For iced friendship tea, use one tablespoon per glass of iced water.

Rachel even whips up a crafty tea tin, which I’m told, is a HUGE hit.
