Cinnamon Roasted Almonds

I'm going to add Cinnamon Roasted Almonds on my cooking to-do list and mmmmh, I can hardly wait.

When we opted for an artificial tree, I felt slightly guilty that my kids would miss out on the true smells of Christmas. So, I try making up for it with the smells of baked goods, citrus potpourri and real pine wreaths on the door. Now, I'm going to add Cinnamon Roasted Almonds on my cooking to-do list and mmmmh, I can hardly wait.

Cinnamon Roasted Almonds -

From Two Peas and Their Pod

Two Peas and Their Pod has a terrific recipe for Cinnamon Roasted Almonds to get your house smelling divine... AND you can eat the almonds too!

I remember smelling these while waiting for a downhill ski event at the 2002 Winter Olympics and when passing a street vendor in Beijing. Another memory? The quote about cinnamon from Seinfeld -

"Anytime someone says, 'Ooh..this is so good! What is this?' The answer invariably comes back, 'Cinnamon.'"
