Cherry Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
My mom has been making it for Christmas since I was a little girl and it has always been one of my favorites. We have always added a little bit of red food coloring to make a light pink cookie, it makes it stand out and gives it a little something extra. I hope you like it as much as I do!
One note: I have only been able to find this cake mix at Tom Thumb grocery stores here in the DFW area. I have looked several times without luck at Walmart, Kroger’s and Albertsons.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend cake mix, flour, oil, water, egg and food coloring (if using). Stir in chocolate chips. Drop from a teaspoon onto an un-greased cookie sheet.
