Brazilian photographer Angelica Dass is cataloging the human skin tone in a photography project “humanæ”. Her photos portray people from Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Winterthur, Bergen, Saegu, Addis Ababa, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paris and Chicago.

"Humanæ is a chromatic inventory, a project that reflects on the colors beyond the borders of our codes by referencing the PANTONE® color scheme."

We've collected a few beautiful faces below, but you can see her entire work HERE.

(PANTONE® Guides are one of the main classification systems of colors, which are represented by an alphanumeric code, allowing to accurately recreate any of them in any media. It is a technical industrial standard often called Real Color)

About Angelica:
Angélica Dass (Rio de Janeiro, 1979)

"I understand photography as a dialogue from personal to global; like a game in which the personal and social codes are put at stake to be reinvented, a continuous flow between the photographer and the photographed, a bridge between masks and identities. For this reason, I raise my work as a tool of exploration, questioning and searching for identity, for eachown and others."
