Graco Recalls 400,000 More Car Seats, Even More Likely
Graco has issued a recall for more than 400,000 car seats in addition to the nearly 4 million it recalled last month, all due to safety issues associated with food particles that get stuck in the buckle, making it difficult to unbuckle quickly in the event of an emergency. Even more infant car seats (about 1.8 million) are expected to be added to the Graco recall soon due to the same problem.
According to the National Highways Traffic Safety Administration, the latest recall includes the following models sold between 2006 and 2014: Argos 70 Elite, Ready Ride, Step 2, My Ride 65 with Safety Surround, My Size 70, Head Wise 70 with Safety Surround, Nautilus 3-in-1, Nautilus Plus, and Smart Seat with Safety Surround.

If the infant car seats are added to the recalls already in place, it will be the largest car seat recall in history.
