Chocolate Crinkle Cookies Made with Cake Mix
Crinkle season is finally here!! I'm completely against putting up your Christmas tree before Thanksgiving BUT I'm totally ok with starting on Christmas treats. These chocolate crinkle cookies made with cake mix are the perfect treat to drop off to your neighbors, bring to a holiday party, or eat all alone when your kids are in bed. The cake mix makes them all too easy to make and kids love helping roll them in the powdered sugar before baking. Win for everyone!

For Santa-approved Chocolate Crinkles you'll need:
1 box Devils Food Cake Mix
1/3 c Vegetable Oil OR 1/2 c Butter, softened
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
Powdered Sugar
optional: For extra fudgy cookies, try adding 1 cup of miniature chocolate chips or using a triple chocolate cake mix.
Method:
- Heat oven to 350°F. In a bowl, stir cake mix, oil, eggs and vanilla until dough forms.
- Refrigerate dough 15 to 30 minutes, for easier handling. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in powdered sugar. On ungreased cookie sheets, place balls about 2 inches apart.
- Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Store tightly covered.
