This is the first post of our May Showers! If you’re looking for some fun baby shower ideas, this is the perfect place to start in the series (more to come!) I thought I’d give a little sneak peek of some of the shower decor-my goal was keeping things easy, affordable and fun!
I’ve always loved balloons and creating a balloon backdrop and some fun balloon accents seemed necessary. I could not get over the idea of confetti filled balloons after seeing this amazing shiny gold confetti. Buying my own Balloon Time tank was so.much.easier than trying to take everything to the store and have them do it there-and much more cost effective too!
My shopping list:
- Balloon Time Tank
- Clear 3′ Balloons
- Pink 3′ Balloon
- Gold Trend Confetti
- Gold Letter Balloons
- Trend Party Fans
First, I put all of the confetti into the balloon.
Second, I wrapped the balloon neck around the tank nozzle and easily filled the balloon using my balloon time tank.
A weighted, confetti filled balloon, the perfect accent to our entry table.
Besides the confetti balloons, I did this fun backdrop for polaroid party favors. It was a huge hit and SO EASY to put together! These gold balloons have the perfect size neck for the balloon time nozzle, making it very easy to inflate them. I love that you can control how quickly you fill them-you want to fill these slowly so the helium has time to get through the small chambers to inflate the entire letter. I can’t imagine if I hadn’t been able to inflate these at home-they are BIG and would not have fit in my car!
Stay tuned for more from this beautiful shower!
