This is an absolute favorite dessert recipe of mine. It comes together quickly and easily, it’s delicious and everyone loves it!
Look at those scrumptios layers of pudding, fruit, cake, jello and cool whip. It’s so good you guys.
It can be prepared ahead of time so there’s no rush-and even better, you can prepare it in separate cups if you’re looking to go über-fancy!
Be sure to save a few pieces of angel food cake for garnish!
- 12-14 oz Angel Food Cake, cubed or torn into pieces
- 3 oz Raspberry Jello
- 1 C boiling Water
- 1 pkg frozen Berries
- 3 pkgs(4 oz) Vanilla Pudding
- 6 C Milk
- 2-3 Bananas, sliced
- 1 lrg container Cool-Whip
- 1 C Nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Make pudding according to directions on box. Mix the jello with the boiling water until dissolved and add ice cubes. Layer in trifle dish in this order: angel food cake pieces, jello, berries, pudding, bananas, cool whip and then nuts. Continue to layer in the same order ending with the nuts. Refrigerate for 30 minutes (or up to 1 day) before serving.
