Picture Everyday Workshop Giveaway—Contest Closed

Thank you to everyone that entered the contest. The comments are now closed.

Congratulations to our winners:

Suzanne Scheve has won a spot in Tracey Clark’s Picture Everyday workshop! AnnGee Dee, Colette Walters, and Jessica Wilson have each won a copy of Elevate the Everyday.

There is a darn good reason that we invited Tracey Clark to speak at evo conference back in the day and are head-over-heels excited that she’ll be joining us in October for Click. In addition to being an outstanding photographer—she’s warm, funny, approachable, and inspiring—the perfect combination for helping anyone who wants to get more skilled, focused, or creative with their photography.

I was delighted when I discovered that Tracey would be hosting a Big Picture workshop called Picture Everyday based on her book Elevate the Everyday.

Elevate the Everyday is a night-stand staple for me…it’s one that I re-read when I’m looking for a little bump in my photo mojo.

Elevate the Everyday by Tracey Clark

Back in 2010 I participated in Tracey’s Picture Summer class. I loved it. It was an experience that helped me get out of my “smile and say cheese” mode of picture taking.

Now it’s YOUR turn! One person will win a spot in Tracey Clark’s Picture Everyday workshop and three people will win a copy of Tracey’s inspiring book Elevate the Everyday.

This workshop goes well beyond a simple photo-a-day-challenge and includes thoughtful inspiration from Tracey along the way, as well as opportunities to connect with fellow students via message boards and private albums.

A special Project Life element is also included and will help you get those photos OFF your phone and computer and document and chronicle your life in photos in a more detailed way.

How To Enter

To enter to win, simply leave a comment below and share the part of your everyday routine that you’d love to capture.

Hurry! Picture Everyday begins on September 12th and we’ll pick our winners on September 11th at 8:00 PM MST.

Good Luck!

I’d love to capture our homeschooling… but I’m usually so busy that I don’t take the time to document it in a way that is “pretty”.

Pick me! Pick me! After I’ve had my first coffee I head upstairs to wake my daughter with kisses and hugs. We snuggle for a bit then it’s time for breakfast. Snuggle time is my favourite of the day.

The part of my everyday that I love to capture is that quiet time before going to bed….all of the animals are quiet and the house is settled. It’s the time for reading, photographing….being

Love her books! It will be awesome to take her class. I want to learn to capture my everyday activities. Thanks

Tried to post already, but didn’t show up. Would love to win the class. I personally need to get “into” more of the everyday photos, not just take them.

I’d love to capture the morning routine my family goes through day.

  7. Nichole 09/10/2013 at 10:08 am

Mornings! I want to learn how to step out of the chaos and capture that “it’s a brand new day” feeling. And I know that Tracey’s magic could help there!

  8. Melissa 09/09/2013 at 11:20 pm

Oh, there are so many to choose from. But I do love watching my kids play together and would love to capture that and those darn irresistible cute faces they pull.

Our evenings where my husband, college age kids and I usually gather and eat dinner together and watch tv afterwards.

This is my last year before my littlest starts kindergarten and I can’t get enough of his bright blue eyes.

I would love to capture our mornings. The family is always rushing out the door and I’d like to document those “Life Moments”

Reading with my kids, especially my youngest.

  14. Suzanne @ Jacksons4Scotland 09/09/2013 at 1:04 pm

Our everyday currently includes planning and preparing for a potential move to Scotland. I’d love to be able to creatively document that along the way.

  15. Toni Schembri 09/09/2013 at 9:53 am

I would like to capture more of my “world” to show to friends and family who are far away.

  16. Kelli B 09/09/2013 at 6:42 am

I would love to learn to capture the quiet moments. I always remember to shoot the big occasions, holidays, and activities, but it’s those everyday simple things that I know I will want to look back on to see how precious life is with an innocent little one.

  17. Jessica Wilson 09/09/2013 at 5:24 am

I enjoy taking photos of my kids winding down from school, or everyday photos of my kids doing the simple things that make up their days. Thanks for the chance!

  18. Ally Victor 09/08/2013 at 10:40 pm

I love to capture all my family’s special moments. I definitely struggle with remembering to get the “day to day” pictures. Or at least capturing the beauty in those types of shots. I would love a chance to win a seat! Thanks for the amazing giveaway!

  19. Melissa Allen 09/08/2013 at 10:31 pm

My kids and the world as I see it on a daily basis! I do feel like I need something to pick me up and give me a good shake every now and then! Please, oh please…let me win!!

  20. Stephanie Porter (Queen Scarlett) 09/08/2013 at 10:01 pm

I love the everyday physical affection we share as a family. We’re very touchy, and I’d love to learn how to capture that.

  21. Chris 09/08/2013 at 9:56 pm

I love capturing my kids’ activities and my pets who are my companions day in and day out.

  22. Colette Walters 09/08/2013 at 9:50 pm

I love to take pictures. Not trained in photography but absolutely love taking pictures. Especially great ones of my two children. I would love to read this book or better yet, attend a workshop. How inspiring.
