DIY Halloween Costumes

My daughter wants to be a banana for Halloween.  My husband thinks we can create this costume ourselves. That’s not going to happen.  Everyone will think the poor kid is dressed up like the man with the yellow hat in Curious George or just a big yellow highlighter.  I am admittedly not crafty, so I’m going the store bought route, but for those of you with a little talent, check out the ideas below for some creative DIY costumes.

The shark costume looks like something I could attempt to make my son – if we had a grey hoodie. Maybe next year.
