Long May She Wave

I was sifting through a box of family heirloom linens and crocheted items today, and I found this sachet tucked between a few dozen other folded things.

A quick text to my grandma revealed that my great grandfather, Verlin Francis Curry, bought the sachet in France (presumably made by US hands) during World War I and sent it home to my great grandmother.
