Love love love this article. Just wanted to add that there is a great product available to add to the kids lunch boxes/bags or even backpacks called hankybook.
I rep this product in Canada and this is a product handcrafted in California made out of organic cotton and a must have for all kids and adults too.
Tuck the hankybook into their lunchbag and they have a reusable, washable alternative to a disposable napkin, tissue or paper towel. I absolutely love your hard boiled egg molds I have one from a great aunt from the seventies we use with the kids and they are always amazed how an oval egg that is hardboiled suddenly becomes a square cube from this device.
Thank you for a wonderful article and any info about hankybook just contact their website.

Great ideas…need to look into those sectional containers…makes sense…and simple. Any ideas on keeping food cool/fresh?? Being in Texas…they start school at 7:30(elem) and do not eat until 11:30… So always worry it will not be fresh..after so long in locker..and the blue ice gets all soggy….

      Hello Dawn
I live in Canada and I have seen these great flat stainless steel cooler packs much better alternative that that plastic toxic mold freezer packs they readily sell. Look around for stainless steel options see they carry a flat one perfect for lunch boxes.
