Teaching Kids How to Play Chess

I never learned how to play chess, even though my dad once bought a really beautiful Robin Hood set from Disney World.  I only used the pieces to act out Robin Hood sequel stories.

My soon-to-be kindergartener wants to learn chess, and I think this Printable Chess How-To from Royal Baloo and Logi Bear Too is simple enough to teach us both at the same time.

Very cool Erica. Thanks. I don’t know how to play chess either–bucket list for me and my nine year old to do before the end of summer.
