I’m a sucker for cookies and cake, but when I want a real treat, I hunt down a tart.
I love them and searched for the perfect recipe and finally a few years ago, I came across two separate recipes and in a rare moment of inspiration decided to combine the two.
The crust from one and the chocolate filling from another created a chocolate strawberry tart recipe that made all of my dreams come true.
The best part? It’s so EASY.

Fill it with the chocolate filling from this Chocolate Raspberry Tart from Martha Stewart/Everyday Food. (Step 2 from the recipe.)
I’ve topped the tart with raspberries and strawberries and my preference is strawberries, hands down.
This would make a marvelous Mother’s Day dessert. HINT.
