Dude. I’ve been off sugar since January. By off sugar, I mean I haven’t been eating it. At all. I’ve had a handful of relapses. One Sunday after church, they hosted a “linger longer” which in essence means that there was a celestial buffet available in the gym after church. And this woman, made some sort of sinfully delicious peanut butter oatmeal bars with chocolate frosting invented by the devil himself. I did it, I ate both gluten and sugar in a moment of weakness. I had a hot flash about 15 seconds in.
When I saw these gluten free no bake cookies from Alison Lewis I figured I could justify these little guys. I mean, she calls them healthy. So I will too. A little bit of chocolate and lots of the things I love: peanut butter, coconut, almonds, honey, and flax seed. No repentance necessary.
