Cell Phone Number Bracelet
She’s getting a little better with age, but one of my daughter’s favorite things to do is to run errands with me and wait until we’re in a humungous, crowded store and break out into a wild sprint. Always down an aisle where I can’t see her. Scares the living daylights out of me. She also seems to really favor doing this to me when I’ve got her brother strapped to me or something that makes grabbing her slightly more challenging. Luckily, the threatening shout of “we’re getting a cart!!” usually causes her to return herself ASAP.
However, I do have a fear of losing her in a crowd. And she doesn’t exactly help me out. I think I would feel a LITTLE bit more secure if I made her one of these cell phone number bracelets that I found on Pinterest…
Perfect for airports, amusement parks or preschoolers who get a kick out of giving their mother a heart attack.
Stay safe…

Yup, these are SOOOO easy and make SO much sense!!! And if you have a child who won’t tolerate keeping this on their wrist, like my son with Down syndrome, clip it to a back beltloop. I had a hard time finding the number beads to do this, but I finally found them at Hobby Lobby.
Blessings,
Alyson

This is a great idea! Once when my son went to the Indy 500 track with the males of our family, and I was freaking out about the crowds and the males not watching him, I wrote everyone’s names and cell numbers in Sharpie on my kid’s belly. “If you get lost, find the police and lift up your shirt!” Sigh.
LOL – I LOVE the Sharpie idea!
I love this idea! My kids are much too old now for these, but what a perfect idea for younger children!
What a great idea! Thanks
