Outdoor Chalkboard

I love sidewalk chalk. One of my favorite photos is of my girl and I drawing on the sidewalk.

I’m not madly in love with sitting or kneeling on my driveway to draw. Bending over is all sorts of uncomfortable and don’t get me started on squatting.

I’ve seen a few chalkboard-painted walls in homes and thought my entryway would be a perfect spot. I’m not abandoning the idea of a chalkboard entryway, but I can make this outdoor chalkboard happen a helluva lot quicker than I can convince my husband that half a black wall is a fantastic idea.
