KEEN Kids Shoes Spring Giveaway (Contest Closed)

This contest is now closed. Thank you to everyone that left a comment. Congratulations to our winners—Janna Murray and Lindsey Johnson!

Spring has finally arrived!

I want to give Mother Nature a big hug and encourage her to go ahead and break out all of the spring tricks she has up her sleeve. Sunny days? Warm evenings? Morning carpool that doesn’t require a puffy coat?

BRING IT.

What better way to celebrate the arrival of spring than with a giveaway that will get your kiddo outfitted for warmer weather in a pair of KEEN shoes?

My love of KEEN shoes is well documented around here and the lovely folks at KEEN were all too happy to let me share a pair of kids shoes with two lucky winners.

Let’s kick off spring with KEEN’s Recess Revolution. To enter to win a pair of kids KEEN shoes, just a leave a comment below telling me how you’d spend a 10 minute recess outside in the sunshine and fresh air.

You can even get an extra entry for liking Today’s Mama on Facebook (or if we’re already FB besties). Just leave a comment letting us know you did.

I’ll pick two winners on Tuesday, March 27th. Good luck!

  7. jen 03/26/2012 at 2:21 pm

A hike in the local canyons would be lovely! Though 10 minutes really isn’t near long enough. ;)

  10. Paige 03/26/2012 at 1:31 pm

Wow, because 10 minutes is about all we get with a little sun peaking through our Seattle Clouds this time of year, my kids and I would probably go for a walk to the neighborhood park and make all the other mommies jealous with our new Keen shoes! We are Keen lovers too! Thanks for such a fab give-a-way!

  11. tina 03/26/2012 at 1:17 pm

Already luvin’ you on fb. :-)

  12. tina 03/26/2012 at 1:17 pm

Soccer, and maybe pulling a few weeds out of the flower beds.

  13. Renee Withers 03/26/2012 at 1:10 pm

My 10 min recess outside with the kids would be to kick the soccer ball around in the grass. I love for them to get a little energy out by doing some sort of running & playing with balls. All kids, young & old, love playing with balls.

  14. Mattie 03/26/2012 at 1:09 pm

I have so many things I would do. By myself I would go running or exercising outside. If I were with my kids, I would go play games like catch or run them to the park.

  15. Mattie 03/26/2012 at 1:08 pm

    We’re already besties on FB.

  16. Jocelyn Tello 03/26/2012 at 12:55 pm

If I had 10 minutes….My 19 month old son and I would head to our neighborhood park. We would jump at the chance to play in the sunshine here in the northwest. He loves the slide and swing. He’s got the greatest little laugh. I’d push him all day on the swing to hear his laugh :-)

Oh, and I liked you on FB too!!

  17. Sarah C 03/26/2012 at 12:50 pm

    “liked” you on Facebook

  18. Sarah C 03/26/2012 at 12:49 pm

We would explore our creek–keens are perfect for that!

  19. hhofmeister 03/26/2012 at 12:35 pm

If I had a ten minute recess outside, I would spend it playing with my kiddos on the playground. They love the book Ladybug Girl, and when we go to the park they love to act out those characters (Bumblebee Boy, too). I would jump right in with them and let our imaginations run wild with all we could conquer as playground superheroes. (Note: I’m friends with Today’s Mama on FB, although it was a little tricky to find…it’s listed as all one word and no apostrophe so it reads: TodaysMama.)

  20. Christina 03/26/2012 at 12:29 pm

If I had time I would love to sit outside in the sun to read MockingJay! I am half way thru and can’t wait to finish!!

  25. Haley 03/26/2012 at 12:21 pm

Oh, those blue ones are adorable! If I had a ten minute recess in the sun, I might just find a comfy spot and read a good book or knit a bit. If I was feeling a bit more adventurous, I’d find a woodsy spot to explore or maybe a nice hill to run up and then roll back down.

I would take a 10 minute recess by going outside and looking up at the sky and possibly taking a walk and just enjoying nature. Nothing’s better than a 10 minute breather outdoors.

  49. Angela M 03/26/2012 at 10:54 am

I would sit by the lake and watch my daughter play in the grass or sand! I am verrrry pregnant so that’s about as active as I can get right now! Ha
