Neighbor Gift Idea Round Up

Still trying to figure out what to give your neighbors this year?  Check out these eight ideas and be the Neighbor Gift Expert!  Or, share a link with your neighbor and see if YOU can be the recipient.

Peppermint Bark

If you’re my neighbor, you know what’s coming. This is my standard neighbor gift. Christmas is not the same without a snitch of this chocolaty goodness.

Spice Set

Give the gift of flavor and make a set of spice jars to share.

Homemade Vanilla

Using REAL vanilla extract seems so extravagant when the price tag is a two-digit number. Make your own homemade vanilla and your friend list may just double!

Classic Chex Mix

Who doesn’t love the crunchy, salty snack of Chex Mix?  Your neighbors will love the break from all the sweets with the taste of this classic.

Cookie Dough

Wrap up a batch of cookie dough and let your neighbor do the baking.  Sharing the recipe makes this gift twice as nice.

Package your granola in a take out box or wrap in a cellophane bag for gifting.  You may just start a new breakfast tradition in the neighborhood.

Hot Chocolate Mix

Have a neighborhood with lots of kids? This homemade hot chocolate mix will be a hit with both kids and adults. Add a mug or marshmallows and you’ve made your neighbor’s day!

Rocky Road Gourmet Popcorn

Fill a bag or a bowl with this gourmet popcorn.  The chocolate and caramel treat will inspire a holiday movie night, or some late night snacking.

    Dear Neighbors,
BTW, you don’t get all these things for gifts this year… just one, if you’ve been good 🙂

This post seriously just saved my mental stability. I had this very nice idea to make homemade bread for my neighbors, but the idea of making 6 batches of bread from scratch…well, if/when I don’t accomplish that, I’m turning to your ideas. Thanks!
