Carina has been typing on the internets before there was a www in front of everything. This is why she’s cranky and wants to know when you’ll get off her lawn. She resides in a hopelessly outdated home in the Mountain West with a mathematician and two boys. Her laundry is not done, but her Twitter and The Jet Set blog are totally up to date.     Had not heard of Hanukkah Helpers – that is cute. I did make up my own deal for that. Jew on the Loo. I have a little Rabbi doll that dances and sings Hava Nagilla. I took a picture of him on the “loo”… and thus beheld the Jew on the Loo. My friends got a kick out of it. He doesn’t really DO anything – not a spy for anyone like those pesky Elves. He just reminds you to be a good person, and be considerate of others.

    Laura, I totally agree, but don’t you find it funny, in a strange way? I’m not sure what the Hanukkah Helpers would help with…do they polish the menorah? Trim a Hanukkah bush?
