A Little Hair Love from Aveda {Contest Closed}

Thank you to everyone that left a comment! This contest is now closed. Congratulations to our winner, Kathleen Gereg.

I used to think that women that got “the mom chop” haircut did it to save styling time. Now I know better. My shoulder-length hair is the source of limitless entertainment for my older girl and my baby boy has a habit of winding his clammy fingers into it too.

My "stylist" and me, trying out new headbands.

If it’s not little fingers trashing my ‘do, it’s the summer combo of sun, water and chlorine that’s conspiring to make look a wee bit beat down by the time back to school rolls around.

Time for a little hair pampering from Aveda—FOR YOU!

One winner will get one 8.5 fl oz Damage Remedy™ Restructuring Shampoo, one 6.7 fl oz Damage Remedy™ Restructuring Conditioner, and one 3.4 fl oz. Damage Remedy™ Daily Hair Repair (retail value: $72).

These delicious smelling products use plant-based and organic ingredients and create a three-step hair care system that is the remedy damaged hair needs to re-emerge healthy, strong and smooth.

To enter, visit, watch a “How To” video, then come back to this post and leave a comment letting us know one thing you learned from the video.

For an extra entry, fill in the blank, tweet the following and leave a comment on this post linking to your tweet:

“I just learned how to ___________________ with @Aveda and couldn’t be more excited! #AvedaSS”

Contest closes on Friday, July 22 at 11:59 PM. Winner will be selected randomly and posted on Saturday, July 23.

Good Luck!

    I learned it’s easier to comb the hair into sections to style it, rather than trying to do it all at once.
