I just attended the evo conf. 2011 and had fun taking pictures with Me Ra Koh. She has awaken the photographer in me again. We have had some financial problems the last few years and I didn’t pick up my camera for awhile. I didn’t feel like I wanted to remember this time. I have 4 children and life marches on. I am missing some incredible moments. Thank you for an inspiring weekend to awaken the passionate woman inside of me. I am ready to capture our special moments again and live life to its fullest.

My favorite picture moment was my first sons 2 weeks pictures done at home. She took pictures of all the things we always do but from my perspective. So I sat in the rocker and she took a picture over my shoulder so it is what I always saw when rocking my baby.

we had a photographer come and do our new born pictures and she got one of my son laying on his belly with his hands holding his head up and his little mouth is all squshed. I would love to learn how to take pictures on my own of my little guy to capture all those great moments to remember.

  20. barb 03/28/2011 at 6:11 pm

I am from the generation 30 years ago that took horrible baby pictures. I do have a few and they were ones I took in black and white while my baby was asleep. I tresure those.

  21. Wendy 03/28/2011 at 5:53 pm

  23. Stephanie 03/28/2011 at 4:06 pm

My favorite photo moments are the candid ones. The ones where a baby or child doesn’t know you are taking photos. I feel those moments are the sweetest and most precious!!!

  24. MiQuel McRae 03/28/2011 at 4:01 pm

My desire to take my own pictures of my children started when a photographer I was using for newborn pictures used lotion to flatten my newborns “arangatane” hair-do. I wish so badly that I hadn’t let her do that because I only have the memory of her crazy hair but not a picture to show her when she grows up. It was unique to her and unique to me but unfortunately the photographer thought she didn’t need to capture that stage of her life. SO, bought my own camera and trying to capture what I want to remember…not someone else.

  25. rani 03/28/2011 at 3:53 pm

  26. Christy 03/28/2011 at 2:54 pm

My favorite photos are those my children take from their point of view when they whisk away the family digital camera.
We end up with this collection of their world view – toys, pretend battles, car races and the constant picture of looking up at mom and dad:)
