11 Random Things
This is my “11 Things” post to kick off 2011. I went through lots of different renditions. 11 flavors of ice cream I would not eat this year, 11 baked goods I will not give up this year, 11 resolutions, 11 things in my house that I cleaned to get ready for 2011. But ultimately my quest for the ultimate 11 unearthed a bunch of random things. Here are 11:

If I search “Rachael Herrscher 11″ on our site, it brings me to my 2010 recap. Go figure.

Holy cow! If I google “Rachael Herrscher 11″ it takes me to a video that was shot of me on 11/11/2008! I WAS VERY PREGNANT! In my entire face as well as my belly. (and I was really tired – I’m pretty sure this was shot at 11:00 at night)

One of the guys in the car accident with my husband broke 11 ribs. (that’s a lot of ribs)

In 2011 I will celebrate my 11th wedding anniversary!

Even more! 11 years ago I was 22, I’ll be 33 this year, and in eleven more years I’ll be 44! Did you feel that? It’s like magic.

So I just googled the numerology for the number 11 because apparently it’s a powerful number.

AND SNAP! I’m coming back in to edit the post because at midnight, and by the time you are reading this, it is officially 1/11/11!!!! I think I might get struck by lightning when I leave my computer.
That is such a cute idea for a blog. I love your 11 things, however, you are more brave than me. I don’t think I would ever post a picture of what I looked like at 11.

That picture is so telling…prison stripes. Well you’ve never made it to prison but you are a hard core suburban thug! Love the “11 Things” posts. I think we are all welcoming 11 with open arms!
Some young girl born in the winter of 2000 is having a super golden, platinum birthday as she is turning 11 on 1/11/11, and should celebrate in 11min at 11 am. Love the post!
