You can even give a canister of wipes to your child’s teacher to help keep the classroom germ free!

The usual play grounds… the fast food places for sure. But i look at a kids snotty nose… and where the said snot ends up…? So the next one on the teen’s cell. Watched the girl wipe her nose on her hand and proceed to make her phone call, then handed the phone to her besty and i had a vision of all the happy germs being shared….!

classrooms, such as during parent teacher conferences

Doctor offices! Though I guess that’s not really a “hang-out” so I will have to say the play places at fast food restaurants or at parks.

I agree swimming pools and playlands. Ewwwe! Lysol can help with the playlands but I don’t think there is any hope for the pool!

I’m going to have to say any of those ball pits. Ew. I feel like I get germs just walking NEAR one of those places!

  14. mary jean leclair 12/28/2010 at 12:26 pm

the play place at any fast food!

  15. Bing 12/28/2010 at 10:58 am

My son fell sick every other week during his first 2 months at preschool, which really gave me the germ heebie-jebbies.

  16. Jen 12/28/2010 at 10:40 am

Probably any kid place! McDonald’s, Chuck E. Cheese, should I go on?

  17. Tess Adams 12/28/2010 at 9:54 am

The play place at McDonalds. I mean I can’t fit in there well to get my daughter if she gets lost, how in the world do they clean it?

    • Rachael Herrscher 12/28/2010 at 11:00 am

Playlands are the worst! Once we were at McDonald’s and a kid came out of the slide who had both peed his pants AND had a bloody nose. Needless to say we turned around and left.

I know, they really scare me. My Cassie is paralyzed so she gets 50% more “surface” time than most kids, all I can think is no matter what they have done or brought in there she is bound to touch it. Then on top of it she eats with, rubs her eyes etc…with the same appendages she walks on so whatever she touches is bound to end up on her face. I carry a bottle of hand santizer in purse at all times because she is also “obsessed” with sliding at McDonalds.

Any playground at a fast food restaurant gives me the germ heebie jeebies! Makes me want to take a bath just thinking about it! 😉

Each time I pick him up from daycare, I wonder what he’s bringing home for the rest of us!!
