I’ve made no secret for my love of planning out my life a season at a time. I mapped out my spring, autumn and holiday lists o’ fun and shared them with all of you this year. I like to plan a season at a time because each one has it’s own vibe.
There’s a season for popsicles. Another for hot cocoa and two for wandering around outside and remarking to your neighbors how amazing the weather is.
So when I caught wind of the new Parenting Seasons Magazine, I knew it was right up my alley. The iPad-only digital magazine will be released in quarterly editions: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. Each edition is full of seasonal family activities, recipes, crafts, entertainment and will even include a calendar function that will offer daily quick parenting ideas.
The recently released Winter edition includes ideas for the holidays, winter boredom busters and Valentine’s Day crafts…just to name a few.
Don’t have an iPad yet? Don’t worry—the genius part of the Parenting Seasons Magazine is that the cost scales depending on when you buy it in the season. If you download the Winter edition in December the cost is $2.99 (a sweet deal in itself), but if you have to wait for Santa to deliver your iPad and buy the edition in January, the cost is $1.99. After February 1st, the cost goes down to $.99.
Here are a few screen shots from the Winter edition…
*Disclaimer: I wasn’t paid for this post. I think this is a great tool and isn’t that why we all like the web? Because it’s just one sharing moment after another around here…
