City / State
What was your big dream?
Success was my dream. I though it was being a big city lawyer and I learned it was truly enjoying my life. So when I saw my kids playing indoor soccer I thought, I can do that. I then went to a Holiday party and challenged the women present to join with me, throw caution to the wind and become the Sherborn Sistas soceer team. Two weeks later we were in uniform and on the field.
How did you accomplish it?
Enthusiasm and the belief that you need to try new things.
Where did you find inspiration to get started?
From my husband. He lives every day with incredible passion and the enjoyment he receives is inspirational.
What motivated you to keep going?
I didn’t want to look back and think that I wasted my life with “what ifs” and “we’ll sees”.
What’s your next Big Dream?
I am thinking of a mum’s lacrosse team…
When you were 5 what did you want to be when you grew up?
Mechanical Engineer like my father.
What about when you were 15?
Now, what do you want to be when you grow up?
Wise and full of experiences.
What book is on your night stand?
Black Swan Green by David Mitchell
What’s your Guilty Pleasure? (Grey’s Anatomy, Peppermint Mocha Lattes)
Scones and a Latte while I watch ‘Tell Me That You Love Me’
What song moves you?
Corny but “I am Woman” by Helen Reddy. I listened to it as a young tomboy who was always pushing against one stereotype or another.
