More women than ever before are participating in and seeking political positions. This year alone marks the first year of the first female Speaker of the House and the first viable female Presidential candidate.
Female candidates have several advantages but also face new challenges. Women sometimes set higher standards for female candidates. This month we will look at some of the women in that are running for office.
