We have always elected the president of the United States through the Electoral College. This month’s debate is whether we should switch to electing our presidents through a national popular vote.

Which side are you on? Do you know how the Electoral College works? Why was is set up this way and why do some want to switch to a system where we directly vote for the president and vice president?
